Computer is cheap. Internet accessing is everywhere while the online business opportunity is overwhelm offering. However, in order to succeed in business, you have to define effective Internet marketing strategies that appropriate to your product at the very beginning.

People around the world who can do a mouse clicking are surfing every day. Those who dream of better living are able to start being an Internet marketer immediately. Though there are few major elements requiring as the essential tools but each tool has a different level of the success factors. Most of the new Internet marketers do not realize how important for marketing related to successful business is. Some of them even know nothing about marketing. Yes, I was one of them.

Back into June 2008, I jumped into building an online business without any research. It was an unintentional click at a Google banner ad in one night during my surfing. That ad led me to a well known (in those days) multiple income streams' program. The program presents very well about the multiple income streams' opportunity with passive income earning. I was very excited and accept the opportunity immediately. I spent few dollars in that program.

Then the real journey was started.

Due to lacking knowledge in Internet marketing, I made no income during the first 6 months but thousands dollars spending in many money-making programs promoted on the net. That is excluded almost thousand dollars spending in buying leads.

It Was My Trial An Error Period

It is my learning period as well. I have learnt that online money-making opportunity program is presenting in various forms. They are social community’s site, list-building site, training site, web development and hosting site, etc.

Their pay plan that offers to their paid member is mostly in the form of multi-level marketing. Some of them offer the 2-tiers commission pay plans. You can enjoy rewards from your effort of downline referring in both pay plans.

Their income schemes are the fantastic, sweet, perfect passive income builders that fit my goal. My dreams will be true if I achieve those plans. However, I found that, none of them really teaches me how to do product marketing effectively.

Can you imagine?

Building an online business without traffic is as same as opening a luxury shopping mall in the middle of desert.

Imagine. You have great products. Excellence quality that you are proudly representing. The pay plan is perfectly rewarding your efforts. It is perfectly fulfilling your dreams. You feel very confidence that among million people who surf the Internet daily, there must be few thousands people who are ready to buy from you.

Well, I have taught to dream the impossible dream.

In reality. I was a new Internet marketer. I have no idea about where my right target prospect is. I do not know how to pick appropriate media to advertise. In fact, with fully confidence and exiting, I have never asked myself the following questions…

“Where is my target prospect?”

“Will I make any earning if I do not have a clear strategy on how to advertise my products?”

“How much should I prepare for advertising budget?”

...etc.

Nevertheless, I know that in order to grow my business, I desperately need leads.

What I have done is buying leads and that becomes an outstanding lesson that I gain during my learning period. I perceived clearly that buying leads is definitely a bad idea!

By apply the right kind of internet marketing strategy that aligns with the product only will take your business to great earning . So, find your target audiences who are seeking to hear from you then define the right Internet marketing media to reach them. Short-term strategy should be defining separately with long-term strategy for solid earning.

Build YOUR Traffic First And Later A Business

This is the ideal route to build successful online business. Moreover, it may not work in the offline business. Most people who build an online business are failing just because they do not get this concept. Period. Fortunately, I am not one of them. In addition, I wish you understand this concept as well.

Anyway, it took me almost one year to have ZERO doubts on this concept and then seriously implement. Traffic is the most critical success factor to selling online. In addition, building your traffic before building your business is the ideal route to success in online business.
